I need an easy, and free website creation tool. If anyone knows any good ones that are easy, please help. Also, if anyone could point me in the direction of some easy and free web hosts.

    If you really mean design (not development), Gimp.

    If you mean development,
    Notepad Plus. if you want to write the code, NVU if you want WYSIWYG.

    Free web hosting is very bad. I have used it a few months ago and I lost all data and the owner was not replying my messages. I advise not to go for free hosting.

    I am using web hosting pad and it is now giving discount at less than $4 per month for unlimited hosting space and unlimited bandwidth. There, you will get free set up and free domain.

    You can try kompozer. It’s interface is pretty much similar to Dreamweaver, but it’s open source and not as complex.

    As for an easy web host, I’d recommend 000webhost. Free web hosting with FTP, PHP, mySQL and cPanel support. It gives you a reasonable 350 MB of web space and 100 GB/month of bandwidth. No adverts too… and you can even put your own adverts in your site if you want.

    I like to use Dreamweaver. If you can get your hands on it then I totally recommend.

    Alternatively, teach yourself the basics on using the Wordpress Blog format it is a CMS which can be used to create websites. Its free and can create amazing looking websites……you can even use templates if you are lazy. Check out some of the Wordpress sites I have modified/created below.
